How does a fuel cell work?
A fuel cell uses hydrogen from a fuel tank and oxygen from the air to produce electricity. That electricity can then be used to power anything from a cell phone to a building to your vehicle, depending on the size of the fuel cell. The fuel cell is completely silent, there are no moving parts and it produces no pollution or greenhouse gases. Plus, it's about 2-3 times more efficient than an engine. See how a fuel cell works >>
